Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled
Python Automation Test Engineer with 5+ years of experience in test automation. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in
Python, Appium, and Pytest, and will be responsible for designing and maintaining scalable automation frameworks for web and mobile applications. This role requires close collaboration with development and QA teams to ensure high-quality and reliable software releases.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Python.
- Design, implement, and enhance automation frameworks using Pytest.
- Perform mobile automation testing using Appium for Android and/or iOS applications.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with development teams for resolution.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing.
- Ensure adequate test coverage, reliability, and scalability of automation solutions.
- Create and maintain test documentation and reports, providing quality metrics to stakeholders.
- Participate in test planning, test case design, and automation strategy discussions.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in automation testing using Python.
- Hands-on experience with Appium for mobile automation testing.
- Strong experience with Pytest automation framework.
- Good understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and testing methodologies.
- Experience in test case design, execution, and defect tracking.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Good to Have
- Experience working with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
- Knowledge of API automation testing.
- Exposure to performance testing tools.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
