Role Description
Job Title: Python Automation Test Engineer
Experience Range: 5 to 7 Years
Must-Have Skills
- Strong experience in Python Automation Testing
- Hands-on experience with Selenium for web automation
- Expertise in API Testing using tools like Postman
- Experience in building and maintaining automation frameworks (e.g., PyTest, Robot Framework)
- Good understanding of test lifecycle (SDLC & STLC)
- Experience with defect tracking tools like Jira
- Familiarity with ADK (Agent Development Kit)
Good-to-Have Skills
- Experience with Robot Framework or advanced PyTest usage
- Exposure to SDK integrations or ADK-based systems
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and test automation integration
- Basic understanding of performance and load testing
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Python for web and API applications
- Design and implement scalable automation frameworks using Selenium, PyTest, and/or Robot Framework
- Perform API testing to validate functionality, performance, and reliability
- Participate in end-to-end testing activities across SDLC and STLC
- Identify, log, track, and manage defects using Jira, ensuring timely resolution
- Collaborate with development and cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality deliverables
- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and frameworks
- Work on integrations involving ADK or SDKs where applicable
