Role Description This is a full-time remote Python role focused on building and enhancing technology solutions that support PPStack’s learning platforms, training programs, and digital services. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining Python-based applications, APIs, and automation scripts that power AI-driven learning experiences and data-driven career solutions. The role involves collaborating with product, curriculum, and data teams to integrate Python components with AI, data science, and e-learning tools, as well as optimizing performance and scalability. The Python professional will write clean, testable code, implement best practices in software engineering, and contribute to technical documentation and code reviews. The role may also support analytics pipelines, integration with third-party services, and the development of internal tools that improve operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Python programming, including experience with core libraries and writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Hands-on experience with web frameworks and APIs (e.g., Flask, Django, FastAPI) and RESTful or microservice-based application development.
- Knowledge of data handling and backend integration (e.g., SQL/NoSQL databases, data processing scripts, ETL workflows, and API integrations).
- Familiarity with AI, data science, or ML-related tooling (e.g., NumPy, pandas, scikit-learn, or similar libraries) and interest in EdTech applications.
- Understanding of software engineering best practices, including version control (Git), testing, debugging, and continuous integration/continuous delivery.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, collaborate across cross-functional teams, and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in Python development.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), containerization (Docker), or e-learning systems is an advantage.
