Role Description
The PYP Spanish Facilitator is a full-time on-site position based in Hyderabad. The facilitator will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging Spanish lessons aligned with the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP). Responsibilities include fostering linguistic and cultural appreciation, facilitating student inquiry, guiding reflective practices, assessing student progress, and collaborating with colleagues to promote transdisciplinary learning. The individual will also participate actively in school-wide initiatives and events, contributing to the collaborative and innovative culture of the academy.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Spanish and strong language teaching skills, with the ability to teach Spanish to young learners effectively.
- Understanding and experience with the IB Primary Years Programme or a similar inquiry-based educational framework.
- Skills in classroom management, curriculum planning, and use of age-appropriate teaching methodologies to develop language and cultural awareness.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills to engage with learners, parents, and colleagues effectively.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to adapt to a dynamic educational environment.
- A bachelor’s degree in Education, Spanish, or a related field; a certification in teaching the IB PYP is highly desirable.
- Experience teaching young learners, with a passion for fostering a love of languages and multicultural understanding.
