Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for a PYP Homeroom Teacher at JBCN International School in Parel, Mumbai. The PYP Homeroom Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering inquiry-based lessons, fostering a supportive classroom environment, and engaging students in learning. Key duties include designing and delivering lessons aligned with the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) framework, assessing student progress, and collaborating with colleagues to achieve educational goals. The teacher will also communicate effectively with students, parents, and other stakeholders to support holistic development.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Lesson Planning and Teaching to deliver well-structured, age-appropriate, and engaging lessons.
- Experience in Education with a firm understanding of the IB PYP framework or similar educational methodologies.
- Excellent Communication skills, including the ability to engage with students, parents, and colleagues effectively.
- A degree in Education; IB PYP certification is a plus.
- Commitment to fostering a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment.
- Experience with technology integration in teaching is advantageous.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
