Role Description
We are seeking a committed PYP Hindi Teacher for a full-time role at our partner school in Bengaluru. The role involves teaching Hindi to Primary Years Programme (PYP) students while fostering a positive and engaging learning environment. Key responsibilities include planning and delivering curriculum-aligned lessons, assessing student progress, managing the classroom effectively, and collaborating with colleagues to support student development. The role requires excellent communication and teaching strategies to inspire a love for the Hindi language in young learners. This is an on-site role and requires physical presence at the school in Bengaluru.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of curriculum development and the ability to design engaging lesson plans tailored for middle school learners.
- Excellent teaching skills with the ability to foster a positive and interactive classroom environment.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to connect with students, colleagues, and parents.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and engage with diverse groups of people.
- Previous experience in teaching, ideally with exposure to the PYP framework, or working with middle school-aged students is advantageous.
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Hindi Literature, or a relevant field; teaching certification preferred.
- Passion for education with a commitment to fostering growth and learning in young minds.
