Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a PYP Facilitator (Grade 2) based in Hyderabad. The facilitator will design and deliver transdisciplinary, inquiry-based learning experiences aligned with the IB Primary Years Programme framework. Daily responsibilities include planning units of inquiry, creating engaging classroom activities, assessing student learning through varied methods, and providing constructive feedback to support each learner’s growth. The role involves collaborating with grade-level and specialist educators, maintaining clear communication with families, and contributing to a positive, inclusive classroom environment. The facilitator will also participate in professional development, school events, and ongoing reflection to enhance teaching practice and student outcomes.
Qualifications
- Experience with IB PYP or inquiry-based, transdisciplinary teaching approaches at primary level.
- Strong skills in lesson planning, classroom facilitation, and differentiated instruction for young learners.
- Ability to design and use formative and summative assessments to support holistic student development.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including effective communication with students, colleagues, and families.
- Collaborative mindset, openness to feedback, and commitment to a positive, inclusive school culture.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; teaching certification or equivalent qualification preferred.
- Prior experience as a primary/elementary educator; experience with Grade 2 or early years is an advantage.
- Comfort with using educational technology and digital tools to enhance teaching and learning.
- Demonstrated commitment to child safeguarding, student well-being, and culturally responsive practices.
- Willingness to engage in continuous professional learning and contribute to school-wide initiatives.
