Role Description
The PYP Coordinator is a full-time, on-site position located in Jodhpur. The role involves overseeing the implementation of the Primary Years Programme (PYP) framework, collaborating with teachers to design engaging and rigorous curricula, and ensuring alignment with the International Baccalaureate (IB) standards. The PYP Coordinator will facilitate professional development sessions, mentor educators, and support student-centered learning. Additionally, the coordinator will serve as a liaison between the school community and IB organization while continuously working to enhance the teaching and learning process.
Qualifications
- In-depth knowledge of the Primary Years Programme (PYP) framework and International Baccalaureate (IB) standards
- Expertise in curriculum development, instructional strategies, and assessment practices
- Strong leadership, mentoring skills, and ability to collaborate with teaching staff
- Excellent organizational, communication, and team management skills
- Experience in professional development facilitation and teacher training
- Cultural awareness and the ability to foster an inclusive and diverse learning environment
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education or a related field; IB educator certification is an advantage
- At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in teaching and/or IB programme coordination
- Proficiency in technology tools for education and familiarity with digital classrooms
- Passion for holistic and student-centered education with a commitment to fostering international-mindedness
