We’re PX — and we fix broken acquisition systems. Our Lead Quantification platform helps top brands buy better leads by giving them full control: clear visibility, accurate pricing, and performance that scales.

Engineering is at the center of that system. We’re looking for a hands-on Tech Lead who can guide teams, ship clean code, and help us build software that lasts.

We're looking for a VP of Engineering to lead our development team and turn big product ideas into scalable, reliable technology. You’ll drive our roadmap, shape our tech strategy, and build a high-performing engineering culture that delivers fast and clean.

This role is based in Amsterdam and reports to the CTO.

What You’ll Do

• Own the tech roadmap and turn product goals into solid engineering plans in close collaboration with our CTO.
• Lead and scale the team, hire coach, and grow a high-performing team of engineers. Build a strong, balanced culture focused on execution and ownership.
• Drive execution, set quarterly plans and ensure we deliver fast without cutting corners. Own resource planning and execution.
• Raise the bar on quality, define and uphold coding standards, documentation, testing practices, and engineering workflows.
• Make smart architecture choices, evaluate and select the right tools, frameworks, and systems for scalability and performance. Own the architecture roadmap.
• Push technical innovation, identify new technologies that open up new product capabilities. Help the team stay ahead.
• Keep systems healthy, monitor platform speed, scalability, and security. Spot issues early and lead resolution with the team.
• Collaborate deeply align closely with IT, Product, and other business teams. Share regular updates with stakeholders on progress, challenges, and costs.
  
  

What You Bring

• 5+ years in a senior technical leadership role
• Strong experience in software architecture and systems design
• Hands-on knowledge of:
• C++, .NET, C#
• SQL Server, Java, Azure
• CI/CD, Docker, modern development practices
• Strong communication skills — direct, honest, and clear
• Proven track record of building and leading high-performing teams
• A bias for action, clean code, and scalable systems
• Fluent in English (written and verbal)
