About the role

PwC's Global Tax Practice is looking for a Global Tax Senior Associate, Dispute Resolution & Controversy (DR&C) to join our team. As a Global Tax Senior Associate, DR&C, you will: - Support clients through the full spectrum of tax controversy, from tax audits and inquiries through to tax litigation and dispute resolution - Develop tax controversy strategies and negotiate with tax authorities on behalf of clients - Assist with the preparation of written submissions, objections, and appeals - Review and analyze tax audit findings and other critical tax documents to identify issues and formulate appropriate responses - Perform tax research and analysis to identify technical positions and arguments to support client interests - Collaborate with multifunctional teams to provide integrated solutions to complex tax issues - Develop relationships with key stakeholders, such as tax authorities and client personnel - Mentor and provide coaching to more junior team members To be successful in this role, you will need: - Relevant tax controversy experience, ideally within a professional services firm or tax authority - Excellent technical tax knowledge and the ability to research and analyze complex tax issues - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and persuade - Team player mentality and the ability to work collaboratively - Proficiency in English
