Job Title: Part-Time Laborer
Location: PVS Technologies – Detroit Plant
Position Summary:
PVS Technologies is seeking a part-time laborer to support general site upkeep and maintenance activities at our Detroit plant. This is a hands-on role focused on maintaining a clean, safe, and organized facility. The position is not expected to be full-time and hours may vary based on plant needs.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general site maintenance including cleaning, organizing, and upkeep of plant areas
- Assist with painting projects throughout the facility
- Support yard maintenance activities such as debris removal and general outdoor upkeep
- Perform minor repairs, including fence repair and basic facility improvements
- Assist maintenance team with miscellaneous tasks as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times
Work Environment:
- Work will be primarily hands-on and may involve both indoor and outdoor tasks
- Outdoor work is expected and may occur in varying weather conditions
- Work may involve physical labor including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
Qualifications:
- Ability to perform physical, hands-on work
- Willingness to work outdoors as needed
- Basic familiarity with hand tools preferred
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
Reporting Structure:
This position will report directly to the Plant Engineer.
