SUMMARY
This individual accompanies our high school and middle school choirs.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Accompanies all choirs in rehearsal
- Accompanies all choirs in performances & concerts; quarterly concerts are in the evening
- Is willing to substitute for classes when the director is absent
- Attends & chaperones field trips & tours
- Leads sectional rehearsals
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum Bachelors of Arts or Music in piano performance, 4 years or higher
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS
- Works well with multiple student ages
- Sight reading, well versed in many musical styles
- Has understanding of the rehearsal process
PHYSICAL CONDITIONS
- Ability to stand or sit for long periods
