Job Title: Pure Storage Architect
Location: Pan India / Pune / Bangalore (As per Project Requirement)
Experience: 7–12 Years
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced
Pure Storage Architect with strong expertise in enterprise storage architecture, SAN design, replication strategies, and disaster recovery implementation across multi-data center environments.
The candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, highly available Pure Storage solutions involving
X50, X20, and C50 models with Active-Active and DR replication architectures.
Key Responsibilities Storage Architecture & Design
- Design logical and physical storage array architecture across multiple Data Centers
- Configure Active-Active clustering (Synchronous Replication) and Active DR (Asynchronous Replication)
- Define storage zoning strategies and SAN connectivity architecture
- Design host group mapping, pods configuration, and storage provisioning
- Manage SAN port mapping and storage assignments
Replication & Disaster Recovery
- Design and implement enterprise replication strategies
- Configure snapshot schedules and protection group (PG) policies
- Implement High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions for storage platforms
- Ensure storage resiliency, failover readiness, and business continuity
Storage Administration & Optimization
- Perform performance analysis, capacity planning, and optimization
- Coordinate with server, virtualization, and network teams during deployments
- Maintain documentation for storage configurations, replication, and DR procedures
- Support migration, implementation, and troubleshooting activities
Required Skills - Strong hands-on experience with:
- Pure Storage FlashArray (X50, X20, C50)
- SAN Architecture & Zoning
- Active-Active and DR replication
- Snapshot and protection group policies
- Storage HA/DR strategies
- Knowledge of Fibre Channel, multipathing, and storage networking
- Experience in enterprise data center environments
- Good troubleshooting and analytical skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in multi-DC enterprise storage environments
- Knowledge of VMware / Virtualization platforms
- Pure Storage certifications preferred
- ITIL process understanding preferred
