We are looking for a dynamic Purchase Manager / Asst. Manager Purchase to lead procurement for Fire Protection / MEP projects (Residential & Industrial). The role requires strong ownership of end-to-end project procurement, vendor management, and team handling.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee daily purchase operations and team activities
- Handle procurement for Fire Protection / MEP project materials
- Review purchase requisitions from project teams and plan sourcing
- Float RFQs, evaluate quotations, and lead commercial negotiations
- Drive approvals as per ERP / internal processes
- Ensure timely ordering and delivery aligned with project schedules
- Coordinate directly with OEMs and key suppliers
- Support accounts team with billing inputs and documentation
- Manage post-delivery services and issue resolution
- Develop new vendors and maintain strong supplier relationships
- Monitor warehouse stock, reconciliation, and material movement (inward/outward)
- Maintain records in ERP / Tally and ensure audit compliance (JV, stock records)
Qualifications
- B. Tech / B.E. Mechanical Engg.
- 5–8 years of procurement experience in Fire Protection / MEP industry (MANDATORY)
- Strong experience in project/site-based procurement (residential/industrial)
- Proven ability in vendor negotiation, cost control & supplier management
- Hands-on experience with ERP / Tally systems
