Location: Juinagar, Navi Mumbai
Job Title: Operational Buyer / Purchase Manager
Experience: 2–5 Years
Ctc- upto 4 lpa -6 lpa (depends on interview)
Working Days: Monday to Friday | 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end procurement cycle including RFQs, vendor comparison, and PO release
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure reliability and quality
- Track and follow up on delivery schedules to avoid production delays
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with internal teams for material planning
- Maintain accurate vendor master data and procurement documentation
- Identify and onboard new vendors while evaluating existing supplier performance
- Support supplier audits, quality checks, and compliance requirements
- Drive cost-saving initiatives through negotiation and alternate sourcing
- Collaborate closely with production, stores, logistics, and quality teams
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Graduate or Diploma in Commerce / Supply Chain / Engineering or related field
- 2–5 years of hands-on experience in procurement / purchasing role
- Strong understanding of vendor management and negotiation techniques
- Good command over MS Excel (VLOOKUP, basic analysis preferred)
- Exposure to ERP / SAP systems will be an added advantage
- Excellent communication, follow-up, and coordination skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset
