Procurement Planning
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project timelines
- Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and planning teams to understand material requirements
- Prepare purchase plans, budgets, and schedules
📦 Vendor Management
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers and vendors
- Maintain strong relationships with contractors, suppliers, and service providers
- Conduct regular vendor performance evaluations
💰 Negotiation & Cost Control
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules
- Ensure cost-effective purchasing without compromising quality
- Monitor market trends and price fluctuations of construction materials
🧾 Purchase Orders & Documentation
- Prepare and process purchase orders (POs)
- Ensure compliance with company policies and documentation standards
- Maintain accurate procurement records and reports
🚚 Inventory & Supply Chain Management
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate timely replenishment
- Ensure uninterrupted supply of materials to project sites
- Coordinate logistics, transportation, and delivery schedules
🏢 Material Knowledge
- Handle procurement of construction materials such as:
- Cement, steel, sand, aggregates
- Electrical and plumbing materials
- Finishing materials (tiles, paints, fixtures, etc.)
⚙️ Quality Assurance
- Ensure materials meet required quality standards and specifications
- Coordinate inspections and quality checks with site teams
📊 Reporting & Coordination
- Prepare MIS reports on procurement status, cost analysis, and vendor performance
- Collaborate with finance for invoice processing and payment tracking
- Work closely with project and accounts teams
🧠 Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- 5–10 years of experience in procurement within the construction industry
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
- Knowledge of construction materials and market rates
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems
- Excellent communication and organizational skills

- Experience in large-scale residential or commercial projects
- Familiarity with contract management
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
