Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Bhiwandi for a Purchasing Manager. The Purchasing Manager will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end procurement processes, negotiating contracts with suppliers, ensuring the timely delivery of materials, and managing inventory levels. They will also evaluate vendor performance, develop cost-saving strategies, ensure compliance with company procurement policies, and collaborate with various departments to forecast material needs or manage supplier relationships effectively.
Qualifications
- Strong purchasing and procurement skills, including inventory management, supplier negotiation, and contract management.
- Analytical and research skills for evaluating vendor performance and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Effective communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills to manage supplier relations and collaborate with internal teams.
- Knowledge of supply chain processes and understanding of compliance with procurement policies and industry standards.
- Proficiency in using procurement and inventory management software; familiarity with ERP systems is a plus.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or electronics-related industry is highly preferred.
