Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Purchasing Manager based in Kadi. The role involves managing end-to-end procurement operations, supplier relationships, and inventory control to ensure smooth and cost-effective manufacturing operations.
The candidate will be responsible for sourcing quality materials, negotiating with vendors, ensuring timely availability of supplies, and maintaining accurate procurement records in SAP ERP systems.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage procurement of raw materials, components, and services
• Develop and maintain strong vendor and supplier relationships
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and commercial terms
• Ensure timely material availability aligned with production planning
• Monitor inventory levels and optimize stock
• Create and manage Purchase Orders in SAP
• Handle GRN coordination and vendor invoice follow-ups
• Maintain accurate procurement data and vendor records in SAP
• Track market trends and supplier performance
• Coordinate with production, quality, and finance teams
Qualifications & Skills
• Proven experience in procurement, sourcing, and vendor management
• Strong negotiation, cost control, and analytical skills
• Hands-on experience with SAP ERP (SAP MM preferred)
• Knowledge of Purchase Orders, Vendor Master, GRN, and inventory modules
• Understanding of inventory management and supply chain operations
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and documentation
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
• Experience in pharmaceutical or engineering manufacturing is an advantage
