Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Purchasing Manager located in Pune District. The Purchasing Manager will oversee procurement operations to ensure the efficient and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services. Key responsibilities include:
- Identify and manage vendors for food, beverages, and operational supplies
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and payment terms
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate timely purchasing
- Ensure quality standards and compliance with safety regulations
- Track market trends to optimize costs and sourcing
- Coordinate with chefs and operations teams for demand planning
- Maintain purchase records and control budgets
Qualifications
- Proven experience in Procurement, Vendor Management, and Sourcing
- Strong Negotiation, Budgeting, and Cost Management skills
- Inventory Management and Supply Chain Management expertise
- Proficiency in using Purchase Order Systems and related logistics software
- Analytical, Strategic Thinking, and Decision-Making abilities
- Excellent Communication and Team Leadership skills
- Experience in the hospitality or entertainment industry is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
