Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in New Delhi for a Purchasing Manager. The Purchasing Manager will oversee the procurement of equipment, inventory, and services to meet project and event requirements efficiently. Responsibilities include sourcing vendors, negotiating contracts, ensuring timely delivery of goods, maintaining supplier relationships, managing purchasing budgets, and adhering to company procurement policies. This position requires hands-on collaboration with internal teams to align purchasing activities with operational and project needs.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in procurement, vendor management, and negotiation
- Experience in budget management, inventory control, and purchase forecasting
- Familiarity with audio-visual and event production equipment is a plus
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Professional certifications like CPM or CPSM are an added advantage
