Role Description
Global Builder & General Order Supplier is seeking a Purchasing Manager for a full-time, on-site role based in Delhi, India. The Purchasing Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing company procurement processes, sourcing reliable suppliers, negotiating contracts, monitoring inventory levels, and ensuring timely acquisition of materials. Responsibilities include coordinating with internal teams to forecast supply needs, maintaining vendor relationships, analyzing purchasing data, and ensuring cost-effectiveness while meeting business requirements.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Procurement, Vendor Management, and Supplier Relations
- Proficiency in Contract Negotiation, Cost Analysis, and Inventory Management
- Experience in Budgeting, Financial Forecasting, and Market Research related to purchasing
- Attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to handle supplier documentation and compliance records effectively
- Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving abilities with a focus on optimizing procurement processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with teams and suppliers
- A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; professional certifications in procurement or supply chain management are a plus
- Experience in the construction or industrial materials sector is advantageous
