Role Description We are looking for a dynamic, detail-oriented Purchase Manager to lead our procurement and vendor management efforts. In this role, you will be the bridge between our supply chain and our clients. You will ensure our existing supply lines run smoothly, hunt down top-tier new vendors for upcoming product lines, and directly solve client needs by presenting tailored product options in a polished, professional format.
If you love negotiation, have a keen eye for quality, and know how to present data beautifully to stakeholders, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Vendor Management: Maintain and strengthen relationships with our existing network of vendors to ensure timely delivery, quality control, and optimal pricing.
- Strategic Sourcing: Research, identify, and onboard high-quality new vendors for new product categories and custom client requests.
- Client Problem-Solving: Analyze client requirements and actively source product options that perfectly match their specifications, budget, and timeline.
- Polished Presentations: Package and share sourced options with clients/internal teams in a highly presentable, structured, and easy-to-understand format (decks, comparison sheets, or catalogs).
- Negotiation & Contracts: Negotiate terms, pricing, and Lead Times (the time between ordering a product and receiving it) to maximize profitability.
What we are looking for
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or strategic sourcing.
- Presentation Skills: Proficient in tools like Excel, PowerPoint, Canva, or specialized procurement software to present product options beautifully.
- Communication: Exceptional negotiation and interpersonal skills to manage both strict vendors and demanding clients.
- Problem-Solving: A proactive mindset—someone who doesn't just find a product, but finds the best solution for the client's unique need.
- Organization: Ability to multitask, manage multiple product sourcing requests simultaneously, and track timelines strictly.
