Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Purchasing Manager, located in Indore. The Purchasing Manager will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing materials, evaluating supplier terms and pricing, negotiating contracts, and managing supplier relationships. This role requires ensuring cost efficiency, supplier quality, and on-time delivery to align with the organization's business objectives. Additionally, the role involves monitoring inventory levels, tracking orders, and maintaining accurate records to support seamless operations.
Qualifications
- Skills in procurement, vendor management, and negotiation
- Knowledge of inventory monitoring, logistics, and supply chain management
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
- Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with vendors and internal teams
- Proficiency in procurement software and tools, with a good understanding of industry best practices
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred)
- Previous experience in a purchasing or procurement role is an advantage
- Experience in budget management and cost control will be an asset
- Basic understanding of AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.) — willingness to learn and adopt
- Highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently from our Indore office
