Job Description
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Purchase Executive to manage procurement activities, vendor coordination, and timely material availability. The ideal candidate should have 1–3 years of relevant experience in purchasing and supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Source, negotiate, and finalize purchase orders with vendors and suppliers.
- Ensure timely procurement of raw materials, equipment, and services as per company requirements.
- Maintain and update vendor database, evaluate vendor performance, and develop long-term supplier relationships.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with stores/warehouse for inventory planning.
- Prepare and maintain purchase-related documentation such as quotations, POs, and GRNs.
- Work closely with accounts and finance team to ensure timely vendor payments.
- Track market trends, pricing, and new products to support cost savings and quality improvements.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Graduate in Commerce/Business/Engineering (or related field).
- 1–3 years of experience in purchase/procurement/supply chain.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
- Good knowledge of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) projects.
- Ability to understand technical specifications and site requirements .
- Good understanding of technology, ERP systems, and MS Excel.
- Strong coordination and problem-solving skills .
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
