Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Purchasing Executive, based in Delhi. The Purchasing Executive will be responsible for managing purchase orders, processing purchase requisitions, and collaborating with vendors to ensure efficient procurement. Daily tasks include overseeing purchase management functions, maintaining procurement records, and liaising with internal departments to meet project and organizational needs. The role also requires effective communication with stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and cost efficiency.
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in solar/renewable energy projects
- Only candidates from the renewable energy sector will be considered
- Strong understanding of Purchase Orders, Purchase Requisitions, and Purchase Management processes
- Expertise in Procurement practices and supplier management
- Excellent Communication skills to liaise with stakeholders and manage vendor relationships
- Detail-oriented, well-organized, and capable of handling multiple tasks
- Proven experience in supply chain or procurement operations
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Familiarity with solar energy or related industries is an added advantage
- Proficiency in procurement tools and software is a plus
