Purchasing ExecutiveAppleby HRfull-timeRequired skillsaccountingcomplianceERPAbout the role Website: applebyhr.com Job details: Key ResponsibilitiesSource and procure raw materials, electronic components, mechanical parts, packaging materials, office supplies, and other required items.Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable vendors and suppliers.Prepare and issue purchase orders as per company requirements.Compare quotations, negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery timelines, and quality standards.Coordinate with production, stores, accounts, QC, R&D, and dispatch teams for purchase requirements.Ensure timely material availability to avoid production delays.Follow up with vendors for order confirmation, dispatch, delivery, and pending materials.Maintain proper purchase documentation including quotations, PO copies, invoices, delivery challans, and vendor records.Verify bills, rates, quantity, GST details, and other purchase-related documents before forwarding to accounts.Monitor stock levels and coordinate with stores for reorder planning.Support vendor payment follow-ups and resolve invoice or material-related issues.Maintain MIS reports related to purchase orders, pending materials, vendor performance, cost savings, and monthly purchase summaries.Ensure compliance with company purchase policies and approval procedures.Assist in cost reduction, vendor development, and process improvement activities. Required SkillsGood knowledge of purchase and procurement processes.Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.Basic understanding of electronic components, electrical items, mechanical parts, and manufacturing materials will be preferred.Good communication and coordination skills.Ability to compare quotations and analyze purchase costs.Knowledge of GST, invoices, purchase orders, and basic accounting coordination.Proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, and purchase MIS reporting.Experience with ERP, Zoho Books, or inventory software will be an added advantage.Strong follow-up skills and attention to detail.Must be able to perform as per company’s changing requirement time-to-time. QualificationGraduate in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field.Diploma or degree in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical Engineering will be preferred for technical purchase roles.
