Role Description The Purchasing Executive role is a full-time, on-site position based in Ahmedabad. The role involves managing end-to-end purchasing activities, including reviewing purchase requisitions, preparing and processing purchase orders, and coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials. The Purchasing Executive will track inventory requirements, compare quotations, negotiate pricing and terms, and maintain accurate purchase records. Daily responsibilities include close collaboration with project, site, and finance teams to align procurement decisions with budget and project timelines. The role also requires monitoring vendor performance, resolving discrepancies, and supporting continuous improvement in purchasing and procurement processes.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Purchase Orders and Purchase Requisitions, including drafting, reviewing, and processing documentation accurately.
- Candidates should possess skills in Purchase Management and Procurement, including vendor coordination, negotiation, and cost optimization.
- Candidates should possess strong Communication skills for effective interaction with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
- Relevant experience in construction or infrastructure industry purchasing is preferred, with familiarity in materials, equipment, and service procurement.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work with ERP or procurement software are beneficial.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in supply chain, commerce, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
