Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Purchasing Engineer based in Sonipat. The primary responsibilities include managing the purchasing process, overseeing purchase orders, developing purchase plans, and ensuring the timely procurement of equipment and materials. The role also involves evaluating suppliers, negotiating contracts, and optimizing procurement strategies to align with the company's operational goals. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient purchasing processes to support the organization’s objectives and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Purchasing Processes, Purchase Management, and Purchase Planning
- Experience managing Purchase Orders and ensuring timely procurement
- Proven Analytical Skills for evaluating suppliers and optimizing cost efficiency
- Proficiency in supplier negotiation and contract management
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build vendor relationships
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Prior experience in the oil and gas industry is a plus
- Proficiency in procurement software and tools is desirable
