Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Purchasing Coordinator based in Trivandrum. The Purchasing Coordinator will oversee procurement processes, manage purchase orders, and ensure timely supply chain activities to meet the operational needs of the resort. Daily responsibilities include vendor management, negotiating contracts and pricing, maintaining inventory, and ensuring the quality of purchased goods aligns with company standards. Collaboration with internal teams for inventory planning and demand forecasting will also be a critical part of this role.
Qualifications
- Experience in Purchasing, Purchasing Processes, and handling Purchase Orders
- Strong Analytical Skills and the ability to assess and forecast procurement needs
- Proficiency in Procurement strategies, including vendor negotiations and contract management
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with suppliers and team members
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred
- Prior experience in a hospitality or resort setting is a plus
- Proficiency with procurement management software is an advantage
