Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Purchasing Assistant, based in Dahej. The Purchasing Assistant will handle daily procurement activities, including processing purchase orders, managing vendor communication, ensuring efficient purchasing processes, and maintaining accurate procurement records. They will collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of goods, adherence to quality standards, and cost-effective purchasing strategies.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Purchasing Processes and Purchase Orders management
- Strong background in Procurement and Purchasing techniques
- Effective Communication skills for vendor and team collaboration
- Organizational abilities for maintaining procurement records and ensuring efficiency
- Knowledge of ERP or procurement software is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field is preferred
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
