We are seeking a reliable and detail‑oriented Purchasing Assistant to support our procurement team. The role involves assisting with purchasing, and inventory management to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment for electrical projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in obtaining quotations for electrical materials and equipment
- Prepare purchase orders and track deliveries to ensure timely supply
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier information
- Coordinate with project managers and site teams to understand material requirements
- Monitor inventory levels and support stock management
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field
- Prior experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in electrical contracting
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask under deadlines
