Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Purchasing Assistant, located in Panchkula. The Purchasing Assistant will support procurement processes by creating and managing purchase orders, conducting vendor research, maintaining accurate purchasing records, and ensuring timely order placements and deliveries. The role also involves vendor communication, maintaining supplier relationships, assisting with inventory management, and ensuring compliance with company procurement policies.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Purchasing Processes, Purchase Orders, and general Purchasing responsibilities
- Strong understanding of Procurement practices and techniques
- Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities
- Proficiency in relevant software, such as Microsoft Office and procurement systems
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Prior experience in a purchasing or procurement role is preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is beneficial
