Job Description – Purchase & Stores Executive
Location: Shendra MIDC, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar (Aurangabad)
Department: Supply Chain / Procurement / Stores
Experience: 2–5 Years
Industry Preference: Electronics Manufacturing / EMS
Reporting to: Supply Chain Manager
Joining Requirement: Immediate joining
About the Role
We are looking for a Purchase & Stores Executive who can manage procurement activities, inventory control, inward-outward material movement, and supplier coordination to support smooth production operations.
The applicant should be organized, responsible, and capable of handling day-to-day material planning and stock management activities in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Procurement & Vendor Coordination
- Generate purchase orders based on production requirements
- Follow up with suppliers for material deliveries
- Coordinate quotations, pricing, and lead times
- Track pending purchase orders and shortages
- Support alternate sourcing for urgent requirements
- Stores & Inventory Management
- Manage inward and outward material entries
- Verify materials against purchase orders and invoices
- Maintain GRN and stock records
- Ensure FIFO practices and proper material storage
- Monitor inventory levels and critical shortages
- Production Support
- Issue materials against production requirements
- Coordinate with PPC, Production, QA, and Accounts teams
- Support stock reconciliation and inventory audits
- Maintain daily shortage and inventory reports
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of procurement and inventory management
- Good follow-up and coordination skills
- Knowledge of MS Excel and ERP systems
- Understanding of BOM and material planning
- Strong documentation and communication skills
Qualification
Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Commerce, Engineering, Operations, or related field
Preferred Experience
- Knowledge of SMT, PCB assembly, or component handling is an added advantage
- Experience in inventory management software, especially Zoho Inventory
- Ensure timely material availability for production
- Maintain inventory accuracy and proper stock control
