Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Purchase Specialist - MRO, based in Borivali. The role involves managing purchase processes related to Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO). Responsibilities include creating and handling purchase orders, managing purchasing activities, coordinating with vendors to procure industrial supplies, operational essentials, and maintenance materials, and ensuring timely deliveries. The role also involves analyzing procurement data to optimize purchasing strategies and supporting the standardization of MRO supplies for efficient operations.
Qualifications
- Sound knowledge of Purchasing Processes, Purchase Orders, and Purchasing
- Experience in Purchase Management and procurement strategies
- Strong Analytical Skills and the ability to analyze procurement data for making informed decisions
- Familiarity with MRO supplies and vendor management
- Proficiency in using procurement technologies and tools for automation and reporting
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or relevant field is preferred
- Prior experience in the industrial or operational procurement sector is an advantage
