Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Banda for a Purchase Specialist. The Purchase Specialist will be responsible for managing and executing purchasing processes, handling purchase orders, and ensuring the timely procurement of materials and services. The responsibilities include vendor management, tracking purchase requisitions, negotiating prices, and ensuring quality standards. They will play an integral role in aligning procurement activities with organizational goals for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of Purchasing Processes, Purchase Orders, and overall Purchase Management practices
- Proficient in Purchasing operations and vendor management
- Excellent Analytical Skills to assess purchasing strategies and make data-driven decisions
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Effective communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Prior experience in procurement or a related field is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred
