Role Description
This is an on-site, full-time role for a Purchase Officer - Polymers located in Viramgam, Ahmedabad. The Purchase Officer will oversee the procurement process for polymers, including creating purchase requisitions, issuing purchase orders, and managing vendor relationships. Responsibilities include negotiating contracts, ensuring timely delivery of materials, analyzing purchasing trends, and ensuring compliance with company procurement policies. The role also involves consistent collaboration with internal teams to meet production and supply chain goals.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Purchasing Processes, Purchase Requisitions, and Purchase Orders
- Strong skills in Contract Negotiation and Vendor Management
- Excellent Analytical Skills to assess purchasing trends and optimize procurement strategies
- Knowledge of supply chain and procurement best practices
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, on-site environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory)
- Experience in the polymer or industrial packaging sector is a plus
