Job details:
Ensure timely procurement of bought-out and consumable materials based on production requirements.
Convert Purchase Requisitions (PR) to Purchase Orders (PO) on a daily basis with 100% adherence to timelines.
Maintain optimal safety stock levels, especially for long lead-time and critical materials.
Ensure 100% on-time delivery of materials from suppliers.
Monitor and achieve cost-saving targets through effective procurement strategies.
Maintain inventory levels in alignment with business requirements and production plans.
Track and ensure availability of critical materials at all times.
Coordinate with external suppliers to issue Purchase Orders on time.
Ensure material receipt at least one week in advance to support weekly production schedules.
Monitor procurement activities against allocated budget values.
Analyze and control inventory levels based on business volume and demand fluctuations.
Develop and implement strategies to optimize and reduce excess inventory.
Identify and take corrective actions to liquidate non-moving and slow-moving materials.
Manage disposal of obsolete, non-moving, and dead stock materials in compliance with company policies
.Good Knowledge in SAP
Good communication skills
Experience
- Minimum 5 -8 years in Sheet Metal Manufacturing field
