Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Mumbai for a Purchase Officer. The role encompasses managing purchasing processes, generating purchase orders and requisitions, negotiating contracts with vendors, and ensuring cost-effective procurement while maintaining quality standards. The Purchase Officer will also evaluate vendor performance and ensure that the procurement activities align with organizational needs and goals.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Purchasing Processes, Vendor Management, and Purchase Requisition workflows
- Proficiency in creating and managing Purchase Orders and ensuring timely order fulfillment
- Experience in Contract Negotiation to achieve cost efficiency and favorable terms
- Exceptional Analytical Skills to assess vendors, costs, and procurement strategies
- Strong organizational and communication skills with attention to detail
- Familiarity with procurement software and systems is an advantage
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Previous experience in the hospitality or restaurant industry is preferred
