Role Description
We are seeking a full-time Purchase Manager (MEP) for an on-site role based in Mumbai. The Purchase Manager will be responsible for sourcing materials and services, negotiating contracts with vendors, and managing procurement activities to meet the needs of MEP projects. The role involves cost analysis, maintaining vendor relationships, monitoring inventory levels, ensuring compliance with company policies, and continuously seeking opportunities to reduce costs without compromising quality.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in vendor sourcing, negotiating contracts, and procurement management
- Strong understanding of Electrical, ELV, Fire Fighting, and Plumbing systems
- Analytical skills for cost analysis and inventory management
- Ability to maintain vendor relationships and ensure timely procurement
- Knowledge of relevant statutory regulations and compliance requirements
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field
- Prior experience in purchase management within the MEP or construction industry is an advantage
