Job Title: Purchase Manager (Food Industry)

Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Purchase Manager from the food industry to handle procurement operations, vendor management, and ensure timely availability of quality raw materials. The candidate should have strong knowledge of food-grade sourcing, pricing, and supply chain coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end procurement of raw materials, packaging, and other supplies related to the food industry
- Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable vendors and suppliers
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and payment terms to ensure cost efficiency
- Ensure timely availability of materials to avoid production delays
- Maintain quality standards and compliance with food safety regulations
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with warehouse and production teams
- Prepare purchase reports, track expenses, and maintain proper documentation
- Handle vendor coordination and resolve supply-related issues
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement within the food industry
- Strong vendor network in food/raw material sourcing preferred
- Good negotiation and communication skills
- Knowledge of inventory management and supply chain processes
- Proficiency in MS Excel and basic ERP systems
Preferred Candidate:

- Experience in FMCG / Food Processing / Agro Industry
