Job Description: Purchase Manager – Chemical Raw Materials
Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Purchase Manager – Chemical Raw Materials to join our team on-site in Goregaon, Mumbai. The ideal candidate will oversee end-to-end procurement processes, leveraging strong domain expertise in chemical sourcing (solvents, resins, additives, etc.) and vendor management to optimize costs and streamline operations.

Key Responsibilities
* End-to-End Procurement: Manage the complete sourcing and procurement lifecycle for chemical raw materials.
* Chemical Sourcing: Utilize deep technical knowledge to source key chemical categories including solvents, resins, additives, and related compounds.
* Vendor Negotiation & Management: Identify, onboard, evaluate, and maintain strong relationships with vendors while negotiating favorable prices, commercial terms, and delivery schedules.
* Market Intelligence & Cost Optimization: Monitor market trends, commodity price fluctuations, and supply chain risks to drive cost reduction and procurement efficiency.
* Systems & Data Management: Maintain procurement records, purchase orders, and inventory tracking utilizing ERP/SAP systems.
Required Qualifications & Skills
* Experience: 6–7 years of proven experience in chemical procurement/sourcing.
* Domain Expertise: Core background and hands-on experience in sourcing solvents, resins, additives, and specialized chemicals.
* Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP / SAP software for procurement and inventory modules.
* Soft Skills: Strong negotiation, analytical, supplier management, and communication skills.
