Project Purchase Manager
We are seeking a high-energy Project Purchase Manager to lead procurement for our upcoming projects. Unlike a standard retail role, this position is project-oriented, meaning you will be responsible for the end-to-end sourcing cycle—from initial project bidding and material estimation to final site delivery and vendor close-outs.
Location Note: Preference will be given to candidates residing in Mulund or Thane for ease of commute and proximity to our central operations.
Key Project-Based Responsibilities
Project Estimation: Work closely with the engineering/project team to understand Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and provide accurate cost estimates during the bidding phase.
Just-in-Time Procurement: Coordinate deliveries to align strictly with project milestones to minimize on-site storage costs and prevent project bottlenecks.
Strategic Sourcing: Source project-specific materials, specialized equipment, and sub-contractor services tailored to unique project requirements.
Budget Tracking: Maintain a strict project-wise procurement tracker to ensure the project remains within the allocated budget.
Logistics Coordination: Manage the "Last Mile" delivery to project sites, ensuring all materials pass quality checks upon arrival.
Requirements & Qualifications
Experience: Minimum 3 years of core experience in project-based procurement (Construction, Manufacturing, or Infrastructure experience preferred).
Technical Skills: * Mastery of MS Excel for project tracking.
Experience with project management software or ERP modules.
Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
Negotiation: Proven track record of negotiating bulk deals and long-term project contracts.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: Upto 3.6 LPA
Performance Bonus: Project-completion incentives based on cost-saving milestones. ( As per company policy)
