Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Purchase Manager based in Kochi. The Purchase Manager will be responsible for managing procurement processes, negotiating supplier contracts, ensuring timely acquisition of materials, and maintaining vendor relationships. The role involves assessing market conditions, analyzing procurement data, and enforcing compliance with organizational policies to optimize purchasing strategies. Coordinating with internal teams to meet project timelines and budgets is also a key aspect of this role.
Qualifications
- Procurement and vendor management skills, including contract negotiation and supplier evaluation.
- Data analysis and market assessment experience for purchasing decisions.
- Proficiency in inventory management and cost optimization strategies.
- Ability to enforce compliance with procurement policies and ensure consistent quality standards.
- Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of ERP or procurement software is beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Relevant industry experience, especially in automotive or manufacturing, is an advantage.
