Role Description
We are seeking a full-time Purchase Manager to join our on-site team in Kolkata. The Purchase Manager will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring raw materials, parts, and equipment necessary for production. The role includes identifying cost-saving opportunities, managing supplier relationships, ensuring on-time delivery, and maintaining inventory levels to meet operational requirements.
Qualifications
- Experience in procurement, supplier management, and vendor negotiations
- Strong knowledge in inventory management and supply chain operations
- Familiarity with technical specifications for industrial equipment and materials
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills
- Proficiency in using procurement and inventory management software
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Previous experience in the manufacturing or industrial sector is a plus
