Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Purchase Manager, located in Navi Mumbai. The Purchase Manager will be responsible for managing procurement activities, vendor management, price negotiations, and ensuring timely delivery of goods. Key responsibilities will include analyzing purchase requisitions, identifying cost-saving opportunities, maintaining inventory levels, and building relationships with suppliers. The Purchase Manager will also ensure adherence to quality standards and maintain accurate documentation of procurement processes.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in procurement, vendor management, and price negotiation
- Strong inventory management and supply chain management skills
- Keen attention to detail, experience in data analysis, and ability to prepare procurement reports
- Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to liaise effectively with vendors and internal teams
- Knowledge of quality assurance processes and compliance with regulatory requirements
- Problem-solving skills, decision-making ability, and strategic thinking
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; certifications in procurement or supply chain are a plus
- Experience in the healthcare or diagnostics field is preferred
