Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Purchase Manager located in Rajkot. The Purchase Manager will be responsible for managing procurement activities, developing vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of quality materials. Additional responsibilities include inventory planning, cost analysis, monitoring market trends, and compliance with company procurement policies. The role also involves identifying and implementing cost-reduction opportunities while maintaining supplier performance and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in procurement processes, supplier evaluation, and contract negotiation
- Strong understanding of inventory management, supply chain operations, and cost analysis
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage vendor relationships
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving capabilities
- Knowledge of the agricultural and industrial machinery sectors is an advantage
- Familiarity with relevant regulatory requirements and compliance standards
- Proficiency in MS Office and procurement software tools
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
- Previous experience in a similar role is highly preferred
