Role Description
This is an on-site full time role based in Surat for a Purchase Manager. The role involves managing procurement activities, sourcing quality materials, negotiating with vendors, and maintaining cost efficiency. The Manager will be responsible for monitoring inventory levels, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring timely delivery of materials to support project deadlines. Additionally, the intern will assist in evaluating vendor performance and maintaining accurate procurement records.
Qualifications
- Procurement and sourcing skills, including vendor negotiation and supplier relationship management
- Knowledge of inventory management and cost control processes
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with procurement software
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, on-site environment
- Hands-on experience in fabrication or manufacturing industries is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred)
