Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role based in Mumbai for a Purchase Manager. The Purchase Manager will oversee procurement operations, develop strategic sourcing plans, and negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers. They will ensure cost-effective purchasing while maintaining product quality and ensuring timely delivery. The role also involves managing vendor relationships, monitoring market trends, and collaborating closely with other departments to meet organizational goals.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of procurement processes, supply chain management, and vendor negotiation
- Experience in vendor relationship management and sourcing strategies
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in data analysis, market research, and inventory management
- Ability to manage budgets, track KPIs, and minimize procurement costs
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Prior experience in a purchasing/procurement role is preferred
- Familiarity with procurement software and tools is an advantage
