WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for a Purchase Manager who will be responsible for overseeing and auditing procurement activities across the organization. The role involves managing end-to-end procurement processes across various categories and not limited to asset purchases, ensuring cost efficiency, proper approvals, and compliance with internal procurement policies. The candidate will also play a key role in evaluating requisitions, managing vendor relationships when required, and conducting cost and budget analysis to support effective purchasing decisions.
Your Responsibilities
- Oversee and audit procurement activities across the organization, ensuring adherence to internal processes and policies.
- Respond to procurement-related tickets and requests as per the defined internal process.
- Review and approve departmental requisitions before proceeding with procurement.
- Conduct overall costing analysis and audits to ensure cost-effective purchasing decisions.
- Lead vendor negotiations to secure favorable pricing and commercial terms.
- Manage vendor relationships and coordinate with vendors when required for procurement activities.
- Analyze procurement budgets and approve purchases in alignment with financial plans and cost controls.
- Ensure all procurement transactions are properly documented, compliant, and audit-ready.
- Maintain procurement records and prepare reports related to purchasing activities, cost analysis, and vendor performance.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely procurement and smooth operational support.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, commercial operations, or supply chain management.
- Strong understanding of procurement processes, requisition handling, and purchasing audits.
- Experience in vendor negotiations, cost analysis, and procurement approvals.
- Good knowledge of budgeting, costing analysis, and commercial decision-making.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP platforms, and procurement documentation processes.
- Strong coordination, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple procurement requirements while ensuring cost efficiency and process compliance.
