Role Description The Purchase Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Bangkok City, Thailand, responsible for managing end-to-end procurement for hotels and food service operations. Day-to-day activities include identifying and evaluating suppliers, negotiating contracts and pricing, and ensuring timely delivery of quality materials, ingredients, and equipment. The role involves monitoring inventory levels, optimizing purchasing costs, and coordinating closely with kitchen, operations, and finance teams to align procurement with business needs and budgets. The Purchase Manager will also maintain vendor relationships, track purchase performance, and ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations. This position offers a fixed salary of 60K and requires a strong focus on cost efficiency, reliability, and service quality.
Qualifications
- Experience in procurement or purchasing management within hospitality, F&B, or related industries, with strong vendor sourcing and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage inventory, forecast demand, and analyze purchasing data to optimize cost and stock levels.
- Knowledge of procurement processes, contract terms, basic finance, and compliance standards relevant to hospitality operations.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills to work effectively with suppliers and cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in using procurement or ERP systems, spreadsheets, and common office software for tracking and reporting.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of handling multiple purchase requirements under time constraints.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Hospitality Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Prior experience working in multi-location or fast-growing hospitality environments and familiarity with regional supply markets in Thailand is an advantage.
